I was thinking about doing it on saturday since school on the semester system will start on the monday after that weekend so that would give people time to get home and relax before.

I'm down for whenever. BUT! I like that at Goleta Beach we can easily see the cars and who rolls in. I mean since it is a CAR club.
at Girsh we kept having to go all the way out there to see what cars pulled in.

but whatever the leaders want is cool with me

I liked shorline because of the huge parking lot, the only reason it got full at the end was because of that Spear fishing contest, and you can see people rolling in.

here is the thing, this is going to be a pretty big turnout.

Goleta Beach: speedbumps, we got ramps, but we need to inform them that if they need assistance, we need to figure out a way to communicate.

Shoreline: limited parking?

Leadbetter: parking permit? FFFUUUUU

I really liked leadbetter due to the parking area to be rather open and close to the bbq spot. Only problem was the $12 parking but in indsight that wasn't really much. Being able to see the cars roll in makes it a lot easier because I don't have to run around to direct cars (like our last girsh bbq). Plus $12 isnt much considering people are basically getting free unlimited chicken and burgers (until supply runs out). The people I talked to at the SD BBQ said that the $12 parking isn't a big deal for them.

Let me know what you guys decide on but I'm going to invite the s2k guys right now. Probably won't get all the TD guys to come since they're all probably busy that weekend but still got the SFV guys and IE if they're willing to drive. Make sure when you invite you get a rough headcount so we know how much to expect.

BTW I seriously dislike girsh park since for the last BBQ I was willing to front the reservation fees but they decided to wait until the friday before the BBQ to send me a reply.

I vote leadbetter lot! Open space and a lot of parking. I'm gonna invite the prelude guys right now too. I'll see if I can get some to come.
