Last Weekend of March or April

Gabe with the Black AP2 talked to some people on S2KI and they are planning to come up one of these weekends to kick it. What I want to do is have a big BBQ like we've had before. The dates seem to be between the weekend of March 28th and the weekend of April 25th. Who's down?

It should be the usual BBQ like we had at the parks or the beach; burgers, chicken, some meat etc. If possible invite people from other car clubs to have a great turnout! So far about 9 s2ks are planning on coming.

sounds good. we need to find a way to organize this, since there is going to be a lot of people.

if we find a date soon i will post up on the civic forums as well. have four different groups get together for food!

the S2ki guys are going to spend the last weekend of the month in hotel that gabe will hook them up with. i'll try to set a date asap though

I takled to the guy from topdown that's organizing this and he said we should go for April, which is great for me and cung because last weekend of march it's our mom's b-day. The BBQ will be on Sunday.

We still need to find out a good place to have the BBQ. We need lots of parking spaces, BBQ spot and not too many speed bumps. So far the best place that comes to mind is Goleta beach. I'm thinking of reserving that big BBQ spot with all the tables.

What everyone elses opinion?

if its on the last weekend of march dont think ill be there. That weekend i think jad chinnu and some other people are gonna go camping for part of spring break.

thats what i was thinking. we also need to get a location. People agree with reserving the big BBQ lot in Goleta Beach?

that's fine by me. I'm too lazy too look at a calender. what will be the exact date and do we have a time set up yet? wanna post on the civic forum soon so we can hopefully get a good guestamation of who is coming.

Exact date will be April 26th, time will be around noon for the BBQ to get started. As usual team members should show up around 11-11:30 to help setup.

sweet. sounds good. I think we should make a permanent checklist of things to bring to our bbq's and just start assigning names. lol.
