Autocross in Ventura, Oct 18th

Some people are organizing an autocross. Signups end on oct 12th. I'm planning on rolling out and see how I do. Anyone have a helmet I can borrow?

The Ventura County Corvairs are going to be hosting an auto cross on Oct 18th at the Camarillo Airport. The autoX is going to be capped at 60 drivers only and its $50 for admission. The VCC have been hosting events since 2000 but have opened them up to the public for the past 2 years. They have always had great turnouts but due to hard times and the economy, this year we had to reschedule the auto x for not enough registrants which means theres a spot for YOU!!

The VCC ask that everyone participating must have a helmet. There will be loaner helmets for those who do not have one. And last but not least, there are no car restrictions (except SUV's) lol, and no mod restrictions!

im off that day. but its gonna be such a busy week for me.

I called the guy, no real tech inspections. Although the basics things are required. Good tires, no leaking fluids, no shit in your trunk, no shit in your car (so things wont roll around), good brakes. They have loaner helmets, free of charge. $50 for 4 runs then optional additional runs at 1 dollar each (max 4). First 4 runs are timed though. Even though the cutoff date is supposed to be this Sunday, the guy told me that you can deposit the money anytime during the week. Sooner the better but there's plenty of spots left.
