| On the way back to SLO last night I was thinking about it. Should we charge for spectators? If not an open lot would be fine for the show but if we do charge spectators, we'll need a clsoed area like La Cumbre School. | |

| well bimmerfest never charges spectator and look how succesfull they have been. just charge entry fee. and maybe do some kind of donation for future shows box or some kind of raffle to raise money for the next event. | |

| thats what the admission of the show cars is supposed to cover.
Normal costs for a show are Location, Trophies, Fencing. Possibly personnel but thats what you guys are for haha. How I see it is we can make it into a business venture as well. If we charge a small fee for spectators ($5 a head free if 13 and under) we can use the profits to split up for everyone who worked at the event.

| It's not that hard to organize a car show..if you can organize a meet then you can organize a carshow..just make sure you have correct and specific categories for all cars attending..getting the word out to the domestic cars will be pretty though bc we really don't know a lot of old white guys.. | |

The only problem i can see us having is having the money upfront. Im not too sure about the logistics of setting up a car show is, but I cant imagine it being much difficult than hosting a meet. wait. no. If we were to set up a car show, the most and foremost important thing is getting the word out so we can have different categories. We have to make sure that we have enough cars for trophies, and VENDORS & entertainment. Live music. One of my customers know Paul Walker, perhaps (slim chance) we can have him come out with his cars and have autograph signings. who knows, the list for entertainment is unending, actually figuring them out and following through is tough. A successful car show, to me, is having at least 200 cars or so. The Botak BBQ usually gets 60 cars. so we need to almost triple that amount of cars. As for food, I think if we could get an In and Out truck out, that would be awesome, or Woody's BBQ catering or even some Roach Coach. Trophies, I just looked up, range about 50 bucks each... anyways, i gtg get back to work.

| whos that? If we decide to charge a bit for admission, we can get a place that is already closed off like i said earlier with La Cumbre school. Good thing about a place like La Cumbre school is that there are bathrooms already there (Cut down portapotty costs), fencing already, and possibly real cheap to rent out the area since the school isn't in use during weekends for the most part. | |

| what would be the 'up front cost' to host a car show? how much we talking? I can invited some BMW guys from So.Cal, Nor.Cal, all of them have been to SB and wouldn't mind coming back for a car show I can have whole LTBMW gang to show up. I also know an active import model Alex, she went to Dos Pueblos back in the days. I can ask her if she can get us a deal for inviting few models. | |

But with the live band we could just get L.A.B. out there to play some music! or get a DJ im sure a lot of us would kno a friend thats a good DJ to come and play there for cheap and maybe even free just to help us out!
