Botak Car show

thats very trueee ricky.. that sounds like a good idea. im definitely down to do that!

car washes cost money as well, location/towels/soap/etc. but if we have enough people like the last car wash we hosted, we could easily make the money to host the show.

i think it would work out... because if we bring our cars. people would see that we're working on nice cars rather than just doing a poor job on washing and they'll be more likely to come because they kno we'd do a good job of washing and taking our time!

Hopefully that will be the case. I helped out with car washes back in high school and a lot of the people helping out didnt even dry the cars all the way haha

oh damn.. haha buuuut we just have to clarify to whoevers helping out that we need to dry the cars fully! instead of half assing it

hopefully as car enthusiasts they already know that haha

Dude car washes are the way to go! And like I said I have a power washer and stuff we can use. My church made 3500 in 4 car washes. I think we can do better.

lol sorry to break the train of thought, but the donation thing, you guys can donate like 1k or whatever to the SM Public Library and with the money you donated they will buy books and put a label on it that thats "Donated by Team Botak Car Club"

but.. not alot of people goes to Public libraries nowadays.. especially in santa maria. I'd say make it big so that even people in the East Coast know about the carshow or people from cities all over California hear about it and come join for the entertainment and prizes!!

we have a huge new library and at the least 30k people come in everyday. haha

One time i stopped by Santa Maria after traveling to the hearst castle.
Then I was pulled over by a camaro cop in Santa Maria for tinted windows.

It was like 2 years ago. Since then, I have not been there.
I'm surprised there is a big library and 30k people coming every day.

about the pet thing....
that could draw a fairly huge showing... i dont know much about ASPCA but im guessing they probably have commercials now and again on the radio about adopting pets... im pretty sure you could get a hold of them and do a partner thing...
car show/adoption day.

they can advertise the hell out of the show and you guys can bring in a fairly large group to get the animals a new home.

and building on my previous reply... most people probably dont know what team botak is.
but people do know who evasive along with greddy, hks, etc.
you need some high profile names to show up so people arent scratching their heads thinking wtf is team botak?

problem is that no one really knows the people at those well known shops. It'd be real nice to get some big names on board though
